The demo diary: the day's call and the session. Yours fills in from your first entry.

What you get on day one

Before a single week of history, the staff builds a plan around your race, sets the day's session, and listens to how it went.

Morning

The day's session, with a reason

What to ride, for how long, and what it is for — from a weekly plan the staff builds around your race date. Have a coach? Upload their plan and the staff runs the day around it.

Week

A plan built around race day

Load builds week by week; two weeks out, the taper begins. Fueling, hydration and recovery are sized to that work, not apart from it.

Evening

One answer, and tomorrow adjusts

Rate the session from 1 to 10. A hard day you didn't plan, a missed ride — the rest of the week is rebuilt around what actually happened.

The race taper, the way a pro team runs it

Two weeks out, the staff cuts volume step by step but keeps the intensity — freshness rises and the form stays. Every number here comes from research; code does the arithmetic, the AI only puts it into words.

The loop a pro team runs every day

  1. You log

A ride typed in words, food from a photo. That is the whole job.

Direct device sync is on the way — waitlist at the bottom of the page.

  2. The staff decides

Load and freshness (CTL, ATL, TSB — fitness, fatigue and the balance between them) from your rides, the day's session from the plan, fueling from the session. One call, the same on every screen.

  3. The evening sets up the morning

Your rating after the ride goes back into the plan. Each week the staff reviews plan against actual and rebuilds the next seven days.

It learns things about you a textbook can't

After 8 pairs of days with an effort rating — 4 on each side of the comparison — the staff starts showing your own patterns.

"The same watts at a TSB above 5 felt 14% easier than at a TSB below −10 — from your own 21 days, not a textbook."

"No invented numbers." That is the project's first rule.

Before your first entry

Do I need a Garmin or a power meter?

No. The weekly plan, the day's session, the taper, the daily debrief, recovery and fueling all work on manual entry: type a ride in words, log food from a photo. A device adds precision when sync goes live — there is a waitlist at the bottom of the page.

Where do the numbers come from — does the AI make them up?

No. Load, fitness and freshness (CTL, ATL, TSB) follow the Banister model pro teams use; power zones follow Coggan; the race taper follows the Bosquet et al. (2007) meta-analysis. Fueling and hydration follow Burke, the IOC position stand and ACSM. Code does the arithmetic; the AI only puts it into words.

Does this replace a coach?

The staff does a coach's weekly work: it builds the plan around your race date, sets the day's session every morning, rebuilds the week around what actually happened, and runs the taper into the start. Have a coach? Upload their plan and the staff runs the day around it.

How much time per day?

In the evening, one answer about how the session went, and a photo of your food — the only things the staff can't see on its own. The rest is computed by code, and taken from your device if you connect one.

Do I need to sign up?

No. The diary starts with your first entry and lives in this browser. Email only links the same diary across your phone and computer — a one-time link, no password.

What if I skip a day?

Nothing breaks. A gap in the food log is never read as under-eating and never cuts your training. The plan rebuilds around what actually happened.
