Gregarion ("we") is a performance-nutrition tool for cyclists. This policy explains what data we process and why. Questions: michaelkrsk@gmail.com.

What we collect

Athlete profile you enter: weight, height, age, sex — to compute daily energy and macro targets.
Meal photos you upload and the nutrition estimates derived from them.
Garmin Connect activity data, only if you connect Garmin and authorize it: activity type, duration, distance, calories and power. Used to calculate how much you should eat for the training load.
A random device identifier (cookie) so your diary stays separate from other users'.

How we use it

Solely to estimate your nutrition needs and give recommendations inside the app. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.

Third-party processors

Google (Gemini API) — meal photos are sent for nutritional analysis.
Garmin Connect — activity data is retrieved with your explicit authorization.
Render (hosting) and Neon (database) — store the data above.

Garmin data

We access your Garmin Connect data only after you grant permission and use it exclusively to provide the nutrition features. You can revoke access at any time from your Garmin Connect account, after which we stop retrieving new data.

Retention & deletion

You can delete individual meals in the app. To delete your profile and all associated data, email us at michaelkrsk@gmail.com.

Security

Data is transmitted over HTTPS. API keys and tokens are stored as server-side secrets, never in our public code repository.
